STAND - Previous STAND Club members, the first meeting will be on Monday, Sept. 24 at 11:20 in Room 10. Please plan to attend. If you are interested in STAND, please see Mrs. Nolf. There will be a sign-up event on Monday, October 1 during lunch.

ATTN:Juniors and Seniors who have a min. GPA of 3.2 or higher are welcome to attend a BRIEF informational meeting TUESDAY, September 25 at the start of B4. Go to your class check in and come to the library. A list of the GPA qualifying candidates is posted outside Rm 23 (Ms. Knight).


Volunteer Club: If you would like a Volunteer Club Tee Shirt please sign up and bring $10 to Mrs.Street. She will be available on A days, during AC or before or after school. Please put your $10 in Mrs. Street's hand. Please do not leave it on her desk or give it to others. The deadline for the shirt order is September 26.


There will be an NHS meeting for current members Tuesday, September 25 during 2nd AC. Attendance is mandatory.


There are only 3 overprint copies of last year's yearbook left. Turn in $45 to Ms. Burcroff by next Tuesday, September 25th before they are sold back to the company. First come, first served.

Blood Drive Tuesday, October 9, 2018. Please go to rm 23 (Ms. Knight) to schedule a time to donate. You must meet the requirements for age, height, and weight. Check out the NHS informational bulletin board outside Rm 23 (Ms. Knight's Rm). If you are 16 and a new donor you must fill out a green sheet, which you can get from Ms. Knight.


NMC Commitment Scholars - Kevin will be at Kingsley to meet with you on Monday, Oct. 1.


The Father Fred Foundation is in desperate need of volunteers for the Fall Food Drive on Saturday, September 29th. Shifts are two hours long at the local Spartan stores. Volunteers pass out fliers to shoppers entering the stores and collect their donations as they leave. Any interested student can contact Sue Bauer at 231-947-2055.


Student council meeting this Wed. Sept. 26 - Room 10 during 1st AC


Kingsley girls cross country took home a third place trophy in the large school division today with 68 points, behind Kent City 27 and Reed City 61.

Freshman Lauren Wooer was 4th in 20:52, grace Kolarik 9th in 22:03, Morisa Schelich 10th in 22:13, Katelyn Hillier 23rd in 24:00, Isabela Mulholland 26th in 24:28, Emma Reuther 28th in 24:29, Emma Arnold 34th in 25:54, Jane Dunlap 39th in 26:47, avery Hawkins 48th in 28:14, and Kristina Hyllested 59th in 32:26.

In the boys large school race, Kingsley's Jake Lathrop was 9th in 18:28.

Volunteer Club : We need a few artistic volunteers to do face painting at the Beat Cancer Game on Friday Night. Please see Mrs. Street to sign up to help.


Mobile Dentist - The mobile dentist will be in Kingsley in October. If you want to be seen by the dentist, you must pick up and complete a form by October 12. Forms are available in the High School Office.
